It’s almost July, and summer meals are being distributed across D.C. The D.C. Free Summer Meals Program, administered by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, offers free meal to kids and teens ages 18 and under at hundreds of sites across the city.
Summer meals help ensure that youth can access the nutrition they need to stay sharp and ready to learn when the school year begins. Meals are served Monday-Friday at most sites and on Saturdays at select sites. Please help us continue to spread the word about this important resource by sharing information with families with children.
